I am very excited to announce that, once again, Catholic University will be offering our 3-week International Human Rights Summer Law Program in Rome, from May 19th to June 9th. (The program is deliberately concentrated to ensure that students can have two full months after the program to work and so that evening students may be able to participate without having to take too much time off work.)

This 4-credit program enables participants to select from an array of 2-credit courses on various topics related to international human rights. This year’s courses include:

  • Immigration and Human Rights Seminar
  • Advanced Issues in Corporate Law: Corporations and Human Rights
  • International Environmental Law
  • Directed Research (on Topics Related to the Holy See and Human Rights)

Complete information about the program is available at our website, as is the application:

The application deadline is March 5th! We welcome applications from non-CUA law students and so I hope that, if you know students for whom this program is a good fit with their interests and needs, you will pass along the information. Anyone who is interested should feel free to contact me (silecchia@law.edu) or Ms. Constantia Dedoulis (dedoulis@law.edu) for further information.
