On October 30 at the U.S. Department of Justice, Attorney General Merrick Garland met with Italian Minister of Justice Carlo Nordio where they discussed how to further U.S. & Italy’s efforts to promote rule of law, deepen bilateral cooperation against transnational organized crime, terrorism & to ensure accountability for war crimes & other atrocities committed by Russia in Ukraine.
