Rep. Bill Pascrell, co-Chair of the Italian American Congressional Delegation, welcomed more than sixty guests at a congressional reception hosted Thursday evening by the Lido Civic Club of Washington, D.C.
The event, chaired by Lido member Tom Stallone, attracted a number of congressmen including Michael Capuano of Massachusetts.
The Lido Civic Club was founded in 1929 and is an Italian-American Civic Organization serving the Washington Metropolitan Community. Its’ civic and charitable programs include providing aid to students seeking to achieve an education, and supporting the homeless, the elderly, orphans, and victims of floods and earthquakes. The Lido Club also works closely with the Aleethia Foundation to assist wounded warriors in their support for recently injured troops in their rehabilitation upon returning home in the Washington Area.
