The young Del Gizzi clan keeping tradition alive

More than a 150 people enjoyed last Sunday afternoon at Casa Italiana Cultural Center tasting home made wine. The event was hosted by the Washington Winemakers, a group composed  mostly by Italian Americans who get together each year to order grapes and supplies, socialize and exchange ideas.  In addition to wine, there was also an abundance of food, including award-winning homemade bread prepared by Jim Gearing.  The group was founded by Willy Meaux and is currently coordinated by Daniel Stabile. headquartered at Holy Rosary Church.
